TESTIMONIALS

We returned to Camperos with friends this year after a wonderful visit last year. On arrival the Chateau is very imposing - but the warmest of welcomes awaits you! Paul has a great sense of humour, and nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are gorgeous old French and grand , each with a specific character of its own - we like the India room which overlooks the front of the house. Do not come here if you want to lose weight!! Brigitte is a fabulous cook and for dinner reels off loads of choices for starters, mains and dessert! And off course there is always a good selection of local cheese, wh Gailywaley Voir sur Tripadvisor
This is a real 19th Century chateau set in nice grounds a short walk from town. We loved the Moorish-style decoration in the public rooms and we got to eat dinner in a beautiful dining room. Before the meal we were given a glass of the local Barsac, and we had very nice red wine with the meal. All the food was good and plentiful, with the chicken in Sauterne main course particularly good. Paul and Brigitte were kindness itself, and very interesting and entertaining. Even though we had an early start on the day we left, they put on a real spread for breakfast. We had a comfortable, romantic be happywanderer063 Voir sur Tripadvisor
Wonderful experience - just like being a guest in a very special country house. The owners are so accommodating and nothing is too much trouble, making us feeling welcome and at home. Dinner was excellent and what an extensive menu! We were invited into the games room before our meal for an aperitif and enjoyed trying out our basic french with a very patient Paul. The wine was excellent and very reasonably priced as was dinner. The room in which we stayed was sumptuous with a wonderful bathroom with all amenities. We will definitely try this place again for a special treat. Bikkabess Voir sur Tripadvisor
